Yogahub- Week 4 Blog

I am now almost four weeks into my trip and I am still learning so much about myself. The one thing I have found to be the most important while in a different country away from the people you love the most, is to maintain your hobbies. I truly think it is the only thing that will keep you sane.

Before I left for this trip, I got really into attending hot yoga classes, something I never thought I would enjoy doing, but I have found to absolutely love. My obsession with yoga did not stop once I came to Dublin. I made it my mission to find a good hot yoga place that challenges me and reminds me of home. After doing a long search, I found a place called Yoghub.

Within the first few days of being in Dublin I dragged Cat, Sam, and Nicole to Yogahub for a hot yoga class. It is safe to say that it was one of the best classes I have ever been to. The best part about it was that when I closed my eyes in that warm room, I felt like I was back at home.

Since that first class, I have gone at least ten more times and have absolutely fallen in love with it. I get it, it’s just yoga, and it sounds cliche, but it is the most amazing experience ever. Yes, the classes are hands down some of the best yoga classes I have been to. I got a monthly membership and it includes pilates, so I have even gotten into pilates. The classes are more to me than just being active though. It is about the fact that it makes me feel safe, at home, and keeps me happy during this change in my life.

The point of this blog is to tell you that no matter what is going on in your life, or where you are, never stop doing what you are passionate about. You will lose yourself in the chaos if you stop. Whatever it may be that keeps you grounded, never stop doing it.
