Last Blog :( : Week 8 Blog

Sadly, this is my last week in Dublin, Ireland. And for this last blog, I want to take the opportunity to show my appreciation for everyone who has helped me with this amazing chapter of my life and the best two months abroad in Dublin.

To begin with, I want to thank all of my friends that I have made on this trip. Without you, I would not have had as good of a time as I had. Especially to my Nicole, for being by my side through every late night, movie trips, and adventures we went on. You made this trip truly unforgettable and I cannot thank you enough for that.

To my family, especially my mom, I want to thank you for your constant support and allowing me to experience this trip. My mom has made so many sacrifices so that I am able to experience these things. It has helped me learn to be independent and step into the real world without her holding my hand every step of the way. Thank you for everything you have done. And thank you for coming to visit, I hope you had as much fun as I did.

To Ivy Kepner, thank you so so so much. I can’t even imagine being in the position you are in. You really work so hard to help us succeed and experience the most amazing things in Ireland. I had an absolute blast with everyone on the trip and especially you and Lily! I think I can speak for everyone when I say we are so grateful for everything you have done for us. I hope you and Lily are taking care of yourselves and taking the time you need to take care of yourself. You both deserve the world, and I can not thank you enough for everything you have done for us.

Lasty, I want to thank myself. This journey has definitely been hard at times and I am glad that I went so that I could learn the important lessons that I needed to learn. I have learned so many life lessons and pushed myself out of my comfort zone to do so. I signed up for this trip by myself, not knowing anyone else going. This allowed me to get out of my inner circle and meet new people and explore new things.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me during this journey. It has been the trip of a lifetime and I am forever grateful for all of it. Goodbye for now Dublin <3
