Beanhive Coffee
If there is one thing I’ve learned from my time in Dublin city center, it’s that there are plenty of places to eat. My friends and I discovered this little lunch place on Dawson Street called Beanhive. It has some great sandwiches, and they draw cute cartoons on their lattes. Although I have only been twice, I already have my order down. I like to get ‘the perfect combo” sandwich with a strawberry smoothie. This place is convenient to get lunch at because it is right off the 39A bus and has a lot of shopping and attractions that are nearby.

St Stephen’s Green Park
Over the past week, I’ve started to realize that my days in Ireland are quickly dwindling. I keep finding myself trying to squeeze in whatever I have not yet seen or done. Something that I enjoyed yet didn’t spend much time at when I first got to Dublin was St Stephen’s Green Park. It’s a beautiful park in the city center with ponds, benches, swans, tourists, and lots of flowers. On my way to the city center, I stopped at the park for a good forty minutes just to sit and enjoy the view. I got to take a breather and really appreciate the city before leaving in just a few days.

Howth
On Monday, we went to Howth to explore the town and go on a cliff walk. What I didn’t know before embarking on our journey was that we would be hiking for five miles over the span of three hours. My sneakers were already falling apart before the hike, and now, it’s safe to say I just purchased a new pair and may have a few extra blisters on my feet. Despite the difficulty, I really enjoyed the hike. We somehow walked from one end of the peninsula to the other and back around again taking in all the sites along the way. After we returned from our hike, we all ate fish and chips at Beshoff Bros.

Trinity College Dublin
Two things I had been meaning to do before leaving were visiting Trinity College and Dublin Castle. I scratched Trinity College off my list Tuesday but have yet to see Dublin Castle. That’ll be next week’s excursion. Jenna and I hopped on the bus to the city center yesterday to see Trinity before meeting everyone else for a movie at Dundrum Town Centre. We walked through the archway to the courtyard and began our loop around campus. The green grass and stone buildings were very beautiful. I got to see the business building and tennis courts as well. The campus is quite small but very welcoming at the same time.

Totally agree on the Beanhive fact. I’ve been twice too, if I found 10 euros on the ground I think that’s where I’d be spent. I like your pictures of the park, feels a bit main character sitting there. Trinity looks like a cool spot, I’m glad you were able to go. So pumped for the next period of our trip, I’m gonna miss you so much. Pretty thankful we both signed up and for our friendship, I may have to visit you in London when you get in.
