After seven and a half long weeks, we have finally reached the final few days of the Bucknell Summer in Dublin trip. And while I’m looking forward to making plans with friends back home, no summer will ever be as special to me as this summer spent in Ireland. On Friday night I went to a small pub with my roommate Will and his dad and brother. The pub had great music and a friendly atmosphere. We’re in the home stretch of our time in Dublin. And while I am looking forward to sleeping at home and eating American fast-food, I’m starting to wish we had one more week here in Dublin. It crazy to think that we’ve officially reached the halfway point of our trip to Ireland. It’s hard to tell if a summer at home would be flying by like this summer is. The combination of amazing field trips, interesting activities, and time spent with new friends is making all the hours feel like minutes. On Friday night, I joined my coworkers from my internship for dinner and drinks at Hawksmoor in Dublin’s City Centre. This was a great experience where I could get to know my coworkers on a more personal level in a more informal setting than our […]
