Lights….Camera….Action! The photographs above, were taken at a black-tie awards ceremony for data analytics companies in Ireland. Sunstone, the company I am working for, was invited to attend this event. All of the companies present shared one commonality: implementing the use of generative AI to solve real world problems. This once in a lifetime event was eye opening. It gave me a glimpse into the future of technology and innovation. Many executives from large companies including Pfizer, ESB, and Gas Networks of Ireland were present. Week 2 in Dublin (Evan Miserendino)

During my past semester, I learned about tensile testing. A tensile test, or tension test, applies force to a material specimen in order to measure the material’s response to tensile. This response can be measured as stress. The purpose of these tests is to determine the maximum allowable stress a material can withstand. According to this test, everything has a breaking point. (Evening Sunset) Adjustment is always challenging, especially when being in a foreign country. You are thrown into a completely new culture and forced to assimilate quickly. Luckily, there is no language barrier in Ireland unlike many other European countries. This, coupled with the fact that I have traveled to Dublin before, made me feel confident in my abilities of transitioning to everyday Irish culture.
