Last Blog :( : Week 8 Blog

Sadly, this is my last week in Dublin, Ireland. And for this last blog, I want to take the opportunity to show my appreciation for everyone who has helped me with this amazing chapter of my life and the best two months abroad in Dublin. To begin with, I want to thank all of my friends that I have made on this trip. Without you, I would not have had as good of a time as I had. Especially to my Nicole, for being by my side through every late night, movie trips, and adventures we went on. You made […]

Rose, Bud, and Thorn: Week 7

As I near the end of my trip to Dublin, I find myself doing a lot of personal reflection. I have definitely enjoyed my time here, but I think it is also important to be honest and say that there were things I didn’t love either. A common thing my friends and I have been doing while eating dinner together is our rose, bud, and thorn of the day. Your rose is your favorite part of the day. Your bus is something you are looking forward to in the future. And your thorn is the worst or least favorite thing […]

My recommendations- Week 6

If someone were to ask me for recommendations in Ireland, I would most certainly tell them all about my favorite places to go. There are so many things in Dublin to explore, but if you are only visiting for a short amount of time, you have to visit the best places. To begin with, I would immediately recommend The Little Kitchen-The Little Kitchen was the restaurant that we went to as a class for our Welcome Dinner. It is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Dublin, so much so that I am making my mom and […]

An Eventful Weekend- Week 5

This weekend was hands down one of my most memorable weekends in Ireland, and probably in my life. This is because I got to go to the Taylor Swift concert on Saturday night. For over two years now I have been trying, and failing, to get tickets to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. I have tried in multiple different cities, states and countries, but they have always sold out. I am lucky enough to be in Dublin at the same time that Taylor Swift is doing her European leg of the tour. When I found out she was coming to […]

Yogahub- Week 4 Blog

I am now almost four weeks into my trip and I am still learning so much about myself. The one thing I have found to be the most important while in a different country away from the people you love the most, is to maintain your hobbies. I truly think it is the only thing that will keep you sane. Before I left for this trip, I got really into attending hot yoga classes, something I never thought I would enjoy doing, but I have found to absolutely love. My obsession with yoga did not stop once I came to […]

My Amazing Friends- Week 3 Blog

Everyone always says “the people make the place”, which is not something I necessarily agreed with. In this case though, it is definitely true. I can without hesitation say that I have found my best friends as a result of this trip. Although I believe I would have still had a great time in Ireland by myself, the people I have surrounded myself with have made this trip the best time of my life. Throughout middle school and high school I had a hard time making friends, and loyal ones at that. I can confidently say that I have become […]
