Canal Tour This past weekend was our free weekend and our very last too, so a bunch of us booked a trip to Amsterdam. One of the most interesting things we got to do while in the city was a canal tour. We left the dock around seven and boated all throughout the canal system for an hour and a half. The tour guide had a bunch of cold drinks and snacks waiting for us on the boat. Madelyn’s Week 7 Blog

Beanhive Coffee If there is one thing I’ve learned from my time in Dublin city center, it’s that there are plenty of places to eat. My friends and I discovered this little lunch place on Dawson Street called Beanhive. It has some great sandwiches, and they draw cute cartoons on their lattes. Although I have only been twice, I already have my order down. I like to get ‘the perfect combo” sandwich with a strawberry smoothie. Madelyn’s Week 6 Blog

Concerts I had a very eventful week this week. I kicked it off with a concert on Wednesday followed by two more on Friday and Saturday. I first saw Stevie Nicks. She was so good and sang all the songs I wanted to hear. After her concert, we went to Temple Bar area and celebrated Cat’s birthday. We all got a cool picture under the umbrellas in the city center. Madelyn’s Week 5 Blog

National Museum of Scotland This past weekend, I took a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland with a few of my roommates. We knew we only had a few days to see everything, but somehow, we managed to do just that. One of my favorite attractions was the National Museum of Scotland. There were so many interesting exhibits and so much to learn about history and culture there. My favorite part of the museum was the hallway filled with ancient sculptures and artwork.
