Time Fly’s

How is it possible we only have a week and a half left. Sitting in work this week everyday seems to be moving as slow as always but the second John and I get on the five O’clock bus it seems like we blink and the day is over. I can not stop thinking about how we only have a couple days in Dublin left before we won’t all see eachother again until the semester starts. Just last night me, Bella, Sam, and John were talking about how although it will only be for a month since the day we […]

Morgan Week 7 in Dublin

Wednesday 7/10 This Wednesday, I was back to doing reviews of records. This entails going through sets of medical records, and picking out any time a specific phrase or topic comes up. This can be tedious, but I feel enjoy in because I can often see how this is going to contribute to the case, and really feel like I am having an affect on the case. At the same time, the nature of the cases I am working on is a bit rough. The records I go through are often medical or mental health records. This means that when […]

Jenna Galla: Ireland Week 7

I can’t believe there is only one week left! I am not ready for this adventure to end yet. This week has been jam-packed with excitement and adventure. I embarked on a solo day trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, a city brimming with charm and history. Wandering through the cobblestone streets, I explored the stunning architecture and soaked in the vibrant atmosphere. I visited iconic sites such as Edinburgh Castle, Victoria Street, and the Royal Mile. I also wandered through numerous shops, restaurants, and historical places, including a delightful stop at Mary’s Milk Bar, renowned for its ice cream. The city […]

John Rodgers Ireland Week 7

It sounds wild to say that I only have ten days left in Europe. I was arriving at the Dublin airport yesterday to embark on this journey. Something I appreciated about this week was getting back into a routine. Last week was hectic, so I was relieved to have a relatively mellow week. One aspect of this trip that I’d like to highlight is working out. I met Cat for the first time on this trip, and we became workout buddies. She’s a D1 Lacrosse player, and I’m a NARP, so I appreciate her pushing me to my limits. I […]

Dublin Week 7: Braden Beagle

My past week here has been a bit different than my other weeks here in Dublin as I wasn’t able to go on the excursion this past Saturday. I was a bit sad that I wasn’t able to go on the hike as it seemed really cool and seemed like it had a lot of awesome views. The reason I wasn’t able to go on a hike was because I was feeling pretty sick when I woke up and knew that exercising and hiking a ton probably wouldn’t help my case and I still wanted to be able to go […]

The Struggle Bus – Connor McDermott Week 7 Blog

We’re in the home stretch of our time in Dublin. And while I am looking forward to sleeping at home and eating American fast-food, I’m starting to wish we had one more week here in Dublin. This Saturday we were able to see some of Ireland’s beautiful country sides with trips to the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, and Hill of Uisneach. What I found incredible about the Hill of Uisneach was how you could see twenty of thirty-two counties of Dublin. From there every county in sight lights a bonfire in unison, to feel a sense of community across […]
