After seven and a half long weeks, we have finally reached the final few days of the Bucknell Summer in Dublin trip. Last weekend was probably the most eventful one of my life. I fear I’m about to write a lot lol. We started on Friday at 1:30 in the morning in preparation for a completely delirious 2 am bus ride to the airport. Catherine Dineen: Week 8 (I’m so upset)

Final blog of the summer! Bittersweet to say the least. This weekend a bunch of us Bucknellians traveled to Amsterdam, Netherlands. I had no idea that the Netherlands used to be Holland. Frankly, I’m still confused as to why they changed the name in the first place. Our flight was early Friday morning and we explored Amsterdam as soon as we landed. Ariana and I visited the Rijksmuseum and looked at paintings by Rembrandt and Van Gogh, sculptures, and artifacts. As sad as I am that this amazing trip is coming to a close, I am happy to say that I had a memorable last weekend in Amsterdam for our free weekend. My trip didn’t technically start till Saturday, because Jackson and I didn’t get to our hotel until 11:00 PM on Friday night. We spent the vast majority of the day on Saturday exploring the city. Once again, another amazing week abroad is over. This week was special as my fellow classmates and I took a trip to Amsterdam! Madelyn’s Week 8 Blog

Canal Tour This past weekend was our free weekend and our very last too, so a bunch of us booked a trip to Amsterdam. One of the most interesting things we got to do while in the city was a canal tour. We left the dock around seven and boated all throughout the canal system for an hour and a half. The tour guide had a bunch of cold drinks and snacks waiting for us on the boat.
